Carol Jean Zuber

Carol Jean Zuber, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 7, 2019.

Carol was born on February 4, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Forrest and Mary “Marjorie” Russell. She received her master’s degree in education from Butler University in Indianapolis. While in college she met John A. Zuber and they married August 21, 1961 and they shared 55 wonderful years together. Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and gardening and spending time together as a family. She was a long-time member of Castleton United Methodist Church and the Lawrence Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

She leaves behind her children, Joe Zuber, Christy Zuber, and Jerry (Melissa) Zuber; grandchildren, Heather Zuber, Nick (Alesha) Zuber, Travis Zuber, Carol Zuber, James Zuber, Jarrett Zuber, Taylor Zuber, Lilly Zuber, and Gabby Zuber; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon Zuber and Hazel Zuber.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John A. Zuber; sons, Jeff (Terry) Zuber and James “Jimmy” Zuber; and her parents.

A graveside service will take place 1:00pm on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Washington Park East Cemetery.
