Carol F. Cossell

Carol F. Cossell, 87, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully January 20, 2024. Carol was born on January 16, 1937, in Gallagher, West Virginia to the late Ben and Gladys White. Carol spent many years as a supervisor for Kohl’s Department Store until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, country music, puzzle books, bingo, and old western movies. 

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles “Bill” Cossell, her son, Gary Cossell, and 7 siblings.

Carol is survived by son Charles “Doug” (Diana) Cossell and daughter Ginger “Dee” (Monte) Frye; grandkids Jason Cossell, April (Jason) Jenkins, Tracy Ammon, Dawn (Brian) Holmer, Dana (Dave) Welsh, and Doug Williams; great-grandkids Mackenzie and Jacob Cossell, Austin, Brayden, Corbin, Kayleigh and Cameron Jenkins, Jayden Washington, Kyle, Abby and Emily Holmer, Arin, Blake, Chase, Sam, Sophie and Denayla Welsh and Kylee, Dominic and Kai Williams; great-great-grandkids Easton and Maverick Welsh; and sisters Joyce Myers and Betty Bruton.

Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway at 2950 N. High School Rd. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
