Carol Ann Simmerman

Carol Ann Simmerman, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 6, 2020. She was born to the late Jesse F. and Lela M. McKamey in Indianapolis on July 13, 1939. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1957 and went on to attend Hanover and Butler University. She married the love of her life, Laurence R. Simmerman on May 9, 1964.

She spent much of her career dedicating her time to the church. She was a member of Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church and worked as their church secretary for many years. She also was a proud member of the sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi.

She is survived by her beloved husband Laurence R. Simmerman; children, Baron (Grace) and Tiffany White; and grandchildren Cole, Tyler, Alan, and Alysin. The love of her life was her grandchildren and she spent as much time with them as possible.

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 2-4PM with funeral services to begin at 4PM.
