Carol Ann King

January 9, 1938 — August 21, 2017

Carol Ann King was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on January 9th,1938 and passed away on August 21, 2017 at age 79. Carol and her family moved to Zionsville, Indiana in her first year and lived there the rest of her life. Carol graduated from Zionsville High Schoolin 1956 and was a Majorette and baton twirler in the Zionsville band.

Carol wasmarried to William "Bill" I. King on June 6th, 1958 and soon became astay at home mom for their three sons, William "Jeff" J. King (Becca), James M.King (Peggy), and John R. King (Anne). Carol was a very active Cub Scout, sports, and band mom. She was an avid sports fan and rarelymissed a Pacers, Bears, or Colts game. She loved going to see her kids and grandkidsplay sports and perform in their band activities.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband,Bill, in 1984, as well as her mom and dad, James and Janie Trout, and brother, Gary Trout. She was a grandma to seven grandkids, Tyler, Sydney,Jacey, Ryleigh, Mykaela, Colton, and Abby King.

Services will be on Friday, August 25 at 2 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville, 105 W. Pine Street, Zionsville. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 24 from 5-8 PM and also on Friday from 1-2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be madeto the Alzheimer’s Association.
