Carol A. Wiker

August 1, 1946 — May 7, 2023

Carol A. Wiker, born August 1, 1946, passed away May 7th at home, with her husband Bob at her side.

Although not a musician, at age 50 Carol learned to play the Clarinet. She enjoyed playing with the Crossroads of America Scout Band for almost 18 years and the last 8 years with the New Horizons Band (a Senior Citizens Band). A longtime Scouter, a Silver Beaver recipient with the Crossroads of America Council in Central Indiana, Boy Scouts of America, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Son Harry (Buddy) McLaren, Jr. (Margaret), Brother Robert Jones Sr. (Mary) of Homestead, Florida, 6 nieces and nephews, Stepchildren, Robby Wiker (Deborah), Shirley Wiker (Gary Lowe, Jr.) and Frances Shetler (Larry Wallace), 6 granddaughters, 12 step grandchildren and 2 great step granddaughters.

Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, is handling burial arrangements. There will not be a showing or funeral as per Carol’s request. A private burial will be sometime this week at out mausoleum at Washington Park East.
