Carol A. Tomey

Carol Ann Tomey, born in 1950, was the daughter of the late Emil and Thelma Prokl.  She grew up in Indianapolis and graduated From Warren Central High School. Carol attended Herron Art School and Indiana University and retired as a Manager for ASX Communications.

Carol was a brilliant and brave woman. While incredibly creative, Carol was business minded and a numbers person who found accounting work relaxing.  Blessed with a beautiful smile and quick wit, Carol was hilariously funny and the greatest storyteller.  She loved to swim and watch movies, but more than anything she loved giving presents, truly delighting in surprising folks with her thoughtfulness.

She died on June 15, 2022 at the age of 71 after battling Multiple Myeloma.

Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Darla LaParne; and survived by her children, Joshua Moore and Lara Moore; and her niece and nephew, Therese and Tom LaParne.
