Carl R. Baker, 68 of Noblesville, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022.  Carl was born March 10, 1954 in LaPorte, IN to the late Carl T. and Gussie M. Baker. He received his associates degree from Purdue University. Carl worked for Motorola for 34 years.  He began his career as a technician and retired in 2015 as a systems manager.  He was a member and usher at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, the Frederick Maryland Knights of Columbus, and Sons of the American Legion, Post 295.  Carl was a volunteer at St. Vincent  DePaul in Noblesville. His passions were cooking, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10 at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, where family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Carl is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane F. Baker; children, Nicole M. Baker, Christopher R. Baker and Courtney L. (husband, Jared) Laub; grandchildren, Addison, Parker, Everly and Brooks Laub; siblings, Londa (husband, Jim) Smith, Robert (wife, Sheryl) Baker and Craig Baker.  He was preceded in death by his brother, David Baker. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society 1391 Greenfield Ave. Noblesville, IN 46060.  Please visit flannerbuchanan.com to sign the online guest register.
