Carl Kramer, 86, of Indianapolis passed away on February 16, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis on July 6, 1934 to the Late Paul and Martha Kephart Kramer. Carl graduated George Washington High School in 1952 and was enlisted in the Army from 1957-1959. Carl attended Indiana University Downtown Campus in the 50’s. Carl was a Tool and Die Maker and perfected his craft with an additional four years of schooling. He worked at RCA/Thomson Consumer Electronics and retired in 2001 after 48 ½ dedicated years. He married the love of his life, Lucille Coe Kramer on July 13, 1968. He was a member of Southeastern Church of Christ, RCA Retirees Club, The George Washington 50 Year Club and Alumni Association. He even had a Wall of Distinction for his Photography Contributions to George Washington High School. His most enjoyable hobbies were photography, working the daily crossword puzzle, watching the Indianapolis Colts, special TV programs—especially the Simpsons. Carl will be missed sorely by all the lives he has touched.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; his children, Joseph Paul Kramer (Candace Lee Barr) and Carl D Kramer II (Debra Marie Dickson); his grandchildren, Jesse Noah Kramer, Jody Elizabeth Kramer, Jenny Marie Kramer, Charles Edward Kramer, and Philip Payton Kramer.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Louise Kramer Holdeman Stabler.
