Candy S. (Watkins) Coffman

Candy (Watkins) Coffman, 44, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Candy was born on August 3, 1975 in Indianapolis, IN to Gary and Linda (Tillberry) Watkins. She was the youngest of four children.

Benny and Candy exchanged vows on May 25, 2018 in the beautiful Savannah, GA. Candy was a 1993 Ben Davis High School graduate, and her work life involved a career in Human Resources. Candy put her entire heart and soul into everything she did – especially into being a mother. Her loved ones recall how much light and laughter she brought into the lives of every person who knew her. Candy’s quiet strength amidst a 2-year battle with cancer reflected her deep trust in God, who she put her full faith in until the very end. Candy also loved all things Colts, Michigan football and Cincinnati Reds, and it is her fierce and selfless love that will be missed most dearly by friends and family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Benny Coffman; daughter, Nichol (Crose) Golub; son, Billy Lawrence; parents, Gary and Linda (Tillberry) Watkins; and her siblings, Carry, Janice and Ricky.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Funeral service will be held by Pastor Dunbar at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial at Floral Park Cemetery.
