Candice A. (Duquenne) Reuben

Candice A. “Candi” (Duquenne) Reuben, 60, of Indianapolis, IN passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2021.  Candi was born in Decatur, IL on May 5, 1960 to parents, Al T. and Mildred M. (McCall) Duquenne.  She graduated from North Central High School and began a career with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where she worked as a trainer.

Candi had a philanthropic spirit.  She was dedicated to many charitable causes including supporting woman’s health and safety, addressing homelessness and food insecurity, and animal welfare.  She loved devoting her time and energy to serving others.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, gardening, and swimming.

Candi was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Mildred; her husband of 24 years, Lawrence M. Reuben; and brother-in-law, Fred Brune.

Candi will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Emily Reuben (fiancé, Jeremy Rogers); siblings: John G. Duquenne (Jane) and Pamela D. Brune; sister-in-law, Elaine Reuben and brother-in-law, David Reuben; as well as many other loving extended family members and beloved friends for whom she had a fierce and abiding love.

Services will be private with burial in Beth-El Zedeck Memorial Cemetery (North).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made in Candi’s name to a charity of your choice.
