Calvin S. Toler

Calvin S. Toler, 69, of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Indiana University Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Calvin was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Daisy King and Mickey Toler. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and became a pharmacist, a profession which he practiced for over 40 years. He and Vanessa (Vanco) Toler, a nurse whom he met while working at Indiana University Hospital in downtown Indianapolis, were married on June 1, 1985. Calvin was an active and loving father to his two sons. He will be remembered for his kind and genuine temperament. He is preceded in death by his parents and two children, Elizabeth and Bryan. He is survived by his wife, children Jason Toler (Krista) and Chris Toler, and grandson Kaz Toler.

Calvin Toler will be laid to rest on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in a private ceremony at Washington Park North. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00pm-8:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis.
