Burl Boggs

Burl Boggs, 91, passed away peacefully at his home in Indianapolis on August 12, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, June (Yeary) Boggs; his children, Paula (Fred) Ackelmire, Brenda (Randy) Gregory and Gary (Deb) Boggs; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was the last surviving child of Washington and Annie Boggs. Mr. Boggs was a deacon in the Baptist Church and a member of his church for 57 years. He served his church for as long as his health would permit. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd W Drive, Indianapolis. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm.
