Brian Thom Bondus

Brian Thom Bondus, 31 of Carmel, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 from anaphylactic shock due to his severe peanut allergy.  Brian was born May 24, 1990 in Indianapolis.  He was a 2009 graduate of Carmel High School where he was involved in countless activities.  He was a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri where he studied broadcast journalism. While at Mizzou he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

Brian was a commercial real estate broker with ALO Property Group.  Brian loved what he was doing in real estate and made a large impact in a short time.  Previously, he was a reporter for Fox 59 and CBS 4.  He was a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church and volunteered with Connect Ministries where he shared his love of Jesus with adults with special needs.

Brian was an avid golfer, loved all sports and lived life to the fullest everyday.  One of Brian’s proudest moments was achieving his rank of Eagle Scout.  He was a founding member of REAL (Real Estate Ascending Leaders) and active in Best Buddies of Indiana.  Brian was also a board member of Discovering Broadway and participated in the 2019 Hamilton County Leadership Academy.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 24 at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, Carmel.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 25 at the same location to celebrate his life, legacy and laughter, with an additional hour of visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.  His funeral will be livestreamed at https://vimeo.com/590439187/d5b383c42a for those unable to attend

Brian is survived by his parents; Diane K. Bondus and Thom B. Bondus; sister, Emily A. Bondus (fiancée, Aaron Biehl) and aunts Cathy Ressinger of Fishers and Patti (Rick) Connell of Minneapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Lutheran Church, Best Buddies of Indiana and Discovering Broadway.
