Brenda B. Wallace of Carmel, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, on June 26, 1940, to the late Ralph and Jean Blank.
Her love for the water stemmed from her early days spent at Lake Chautauqua, where she learned to waterski. She always looked forward to the next time she could go sailing on the lake under the sun. Throughout her life, Brenda found joy spending time at Anna Maria Island, where she loved to have her toes in the sand and swim in the ocean. Brenda loved to pass the time by sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds.
After pursuing her education and obtaining an Associate's Degree from Waynesburg College, Brenda dedicated her career to the insurance industry as a Processor.
However, Brenda's true passion lay in her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. She was the rock of her family. Her children, Mike, Dana, and Leah, and her grandchildren, Bella and Mady, were her pride and joy. She dedicated her life to raising them.
In addition to her family, Brenda was a cherished member of the New Life Christian Church. Brenda’s faith was genuine, consistent, and held up strong under the greatest challenges life threw at her.
Brenda had a soft spot for animals and was known for giving strays a loving home, embodying compassion and kindness in everything she did.
She has been known to say “glad you got to see me” when she was saying goodbye to her visitors.
Brenda is survived by her children, Dennis Michael Wallace, Dana (Scott) Hess, and Leah Siersdale; granddaughter, Madeline “Mady”; sister, Eddy Faust; beloved dog, Sophia; and numerous friends and fur babies.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, and her granddaughter, Isabella Siersdale.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Brenda’s name to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
