Brenda Sine Clephane, age 76, made her journey home on Saturday, December 26, 2020. We know that she went straight into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Waiting right behind Jesus was her husband, Marion, the love of her earthly life. They had been waiting a long 22 years for their reunion and we smile when we imagine their joy that day. Brenda and Marion were long-time members of Gasburg Baptist Church, Mooresville, Indiana.
Their love produced 3 daughters, Robin Clephane Steward, Lori C. Biggerstaff, husband Greg and Melinda M. Gieseking, Fiancee Dirk Shields.
Brenda had seven loving Grandchildren who thought she hung the moon, Jade E. Hay, husband Andrew, Joseph C. Steward, wife Erin, Suni R. Steward, Brooks A. Gieseking, wife Julia, Zane A. Gieseking, wife Camelia, P. Denton Biggerstaff, wife Megan, Beau B. Steward, Fiance Gwen; Great Grandchildren, Ava, Andi, Autumn and Dillon Hay, Denton James and Rhett Biggerstaff, Max, Olivia, and Asher Steward, and Fox Gieseking.
Brenda was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 23, 1944 to Howard and Minnie Sine. She was one of four daughters. Two loving sisters survive her, Katherine “Kay” Williams and Mary Beth Choat. She leaves behind two beloved brothers-in-law, Robert Williams and Patrick Choat and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Sue Davis and brother-in-law Bill Davis. The reunion between Brenda and Sue is something we also imagine with great laughter.
Brenda was known for her laughter. She was the embodiment of strength, grit, honor, pride, love and comedy but most of all, love. She was truly our best friend.
We will have a celebration of her beautiful life once everyone feels safe to gather again.
