Brenda K. Schauwecker

Brenda K. Schauwecker, 70, Indianapolis passed away on June 24, 2022 from complications following a stroke. She was born February 18, 1952 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Tom Davis and the late Geraldine (Baumgardner) Davis. Later she was adopted by her stepfather, the late Martin Wright and became Brenda K. Wright. Brenda graduated from Highland High School, Anderson, Indiana and immediately went to work assembling starter motors on the assembly line of the Delco Remy division of General Motors. While at Delco, she worked her way through Anderson University and was promoted to manufacturing accountant. She married the love of her life, Donald S. Schauwecker, on December 21, 1985, and they had one daughter, Anastasia “Stacy” born June 2, 1989. Both Donald and Stacy survived Brenda. Brenda loved and was loved. She will be missed. She was a believer and has had an upgrade and now is in a happier place free of sorrows and pain. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, and will be immediately followed by a service at Horizon Christian Fellowship Church, 7702 Indian Lake Road, Lawrence, Indiana.
