Brenda A. Clark

Brenda A. Clark, 60, of Carmel, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. Brenda, known by the grandchildren as “Lovie,” was born November 9, 1956 in Noblesville, Indiana to the late George F. Burrell and Olive A. Burrell. She grew up in Carmel, Indiana and graduated from Carmel High School. She graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.

Brenda was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church, served on the Riverview Hospital and the Butler University Kappa Alpha Theta Building Board of Directors, and was a Tri Kappa. She worked as a surgical nurse prior to becoming a mother of two.

She is survived by her husband Doug Clark; her children, Taylor (Margot) Clark and Courtney (Mark) Naaman; her four grandchildren, Caden and Marley Clark, and Prescott and Everett Naaman; and her brother, Bart (Nancy) Burrell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Carmel United Methodist Church, 621 S. Rangeline Road, Carmel, Indiana. Services will be held at the same location on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 10:00 a.m.

In keeping with Brenda’s passion for education, a scholarship fund is being created in her honor. Memorial contributions may be directed to her husband, Doug Clark.
