Brandon Malcholm Warren Sisney

Brandon Malcholm Warren Sisney was born on July 20, 1990 to Marnita L. Russell and Warren B.R. Sisney. When Brandon was just a child, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized at Revelation Tabernacle in New Albany, Indiana. Brandon graduated from Northwest High School in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2008. After his high school graduation, Brandon attended Miami University in Hamilton, Ohio.

Brandon was a member of the Army National Guard in Hamilton, Ohio. After moving to Florida, he became a member of the Army Reserves in Florida.

When Brandon moved to Florida, he began working at the Marriott Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Through his position in guest services, Brandon developed a passion for meeting new people, interacting with tourists, and embracing the freedom of working on the beach. Brandon also loved to travel, which gave him more opportunities to meet new people. However, Brandon’s passions weren’t limited to helping others in the workplace. He also desired to help people start their new live journeys in Florida—through the housing market. After working at the Marriott for several years, alongside remaining faithful to his passion for military service, he had recently decided to become a real estate agent in Florida. He stated that his mission was to transform the home-buying experience into “a transparent, honest, and personalized service for his clients”.

Brandon was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents (Lee Etta Sisney & William B. Sisney), a paternal aunt (Desiree Terry) and her husband (Ron Terry), and a paternal uncle (Darryl Sisney).

Brandon leaves to cherish his memory: his mother (Marnita L. Russell) and his father (Warren B.R. Sisney); his brother (Marcus Okotcha); step-mother, Cassandra Sisney and a special father (Victor Okotcha); his maternal grandparents (Clara D. Russell and Carl M. Russell), a maternal great-grandmother (Dorothy Watkins), a maternal uncle (Artie Russell) and his wife (Toni Russell), a maternal aunt (Carlonda Reilly) and her husband (Michael Reilly); maternal cousins (Brooklyn Russell, Julian Russell, and Christian Reilly); a paternal uncle (Orlando Sisney); and paternal cousins (Alandrea Sisney, Jazmine Sisney, D’Ron Terry, and Akyia Terry). Brandon also leaves behind a host of extended family members, childhood friends, coworkers (who were like family members), and military brothers and sisters.

Viewing for family and friends will be held from 10am until 1pm on Saturday, January 26, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Brandon’s Homegoing Service will be held at 1pm, also in the Conner Suite. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
