Bradley H. Rowe, 60, of Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Brad was born July 30, 1960 in Bloomington, IN. He was a 1982 graduate of the US Naval Academy, and a Lieutenant in the US Navy where he served as a Submarine Warfare Officer aboard the USS Greenling and the USS Dace.
After his service in the Navy, Brad became an actuary. He was a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. He worked for American States Insurance, American United Life, and Liberty Mutual.
Brad’s passions included his family, Scouting, sports, and building projects. He dedicated much of his time to his sons’ activities including coaching them in baseball and soccer, participating in their Scouting journeys, and supporting their academic pursuits. His sons’ athletic, academic, and Scouting achievements gave him immeasurable pride and joy as a father. These activities took him and the family all over the map, from years of travel soccer across the Midwest to Scout adventures ranging from the Appalachian Trail to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Brad passed a family legacy of Scouting values from his grandfather and father to his sons. He was an Eagle Scout, Firecrafter, member of Order of the Arrow, and a leader in Cub and Boy Scouts. He was a proficient do-it-yourselfer and tackled numerous building projects at home through which he could teach his sons practical skills. Brad enjoyed mentoring, teaching skills, and seeing his efforts help others achieve success and personal growth.
Brad is deeply loved and sorely missed by his family who pray that he rests in eternal peace and happiness in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons, Benjamin P. Rowe, LT, CEC, USN (wife, Kelsey Rowe, LT, USN), Andrew W. Rowe (wife, Natalie Segrist) and Jason B. Rowe (wife, Kathleen Brannen); grandchildren, Solomon Rowe and Eleanor Rowe; father, Phillip D.
