Bonnie L. Clark, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 16, 2018.
Bonnie was born on April 7, 1943 to the late Walter and Alice Douthit in Indianapolis. Bonnie worked for Community Hospital East for over 30 years, starting as a unit clerk and working her way up to becoming a preceptor in charge of training, and retiring in 2003. Bonnie was a social butterfly and loved spending time with her friends, people naturally gravitated toward her positive energy. She loved to cook and bake and loved sharing in food and fellowship and treating people to their favorite dishes. She also enjoyed playing card games, especially euchre with her friends, and board games at home as a special way to spend time together as a family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Bonnie leaves behind her children, Beverly “Chris” Shrum (Bryan Cox), Holland “Dutch” Clark (Teresa Belew), Lynda Baker; grandchildren, Andrew Toole, Holly Clark, Natalie Clark, Kyle Shrum; and great-grandchildren, Kinsley Gruss, Lydia Ladd, and Ethan Ladd.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East.
Memorial contributions in Bonnie’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
