Bonnie Lou (Ricketts) Karst, 96 of Brownsburg passed away on June 30, 2024. She was born October 15, 1927, in North Vernon, IN to George and Phoebe Ricketts. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Karst, her daughter Kitty Gray, her sisters Yvonne and Peggy, and her Great-Grandson Zachary Keers.
Bonnie was a prideful patron to North Vernon Baptist church before moving to Indianapolis. After marrying Roy and supporting his service in the US Air Force during WWII, the two welcomed their beloved daughter, Kitty, in 1947. Bonnie retired from General Motors after 32 years of service.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly (Chris) Keers, Todd (Diane) Lewis, and Lisa Tsakrios, 6 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
A dedicated servant of the Lord, Bonnie is known and remembered for her selfless dedication to anyone who needed everlasting love and the warmth of Jesus. She met adversity with prayers and sacrifice, and she led a life of strength. Those who knew her best always had an angel on earth to guide them through their troubles knowing she never needed anything in return. Her life in heaven will be in blissful reunion with those who preceded her, and she will, without a doubt, continue her angelic work for those she left behind, now and forever.
