Bobby Jack Dowell

88, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on November 30, 2019 in Lebanon, IN.  Bobby was born on September 28, 1931 in Clinton, TN to the late Oscar and Nella Dowell.  He was a Marine Corps Veteran.  He was retired foreman for GM and had also worked for H&R Block.  He was a member of Mars View Christian Church and the Rolling Wheels Camping Club.  He was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Dowell and Elizabeth Dowell; parents, Oscar and Nella Dowell; siblings, Roy Gene Dowell, Bill Dowell, Linda Dowell and Mary Collins.  He is survived by his daughters, Debra (Alan) Farris, Beverly (Mike) Sturm, Denise Kuhlenschmidt, Cynthia (Dan) Solis and Linda (Larry) Batts; sister, Dot Smith; brother, John Dowell; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Services will be Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Entombment will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to ALS.
