Bobbie R. Schlangen- Clark

Bobbie R. Schlangen- Clark, 87, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully December 9^th, 2022. She was born in Norton, Virginia to parents Robert and Celona (Jinkins) McCullough.

Bobbie grew up in Virginia and moved to Indianapolis later in life.

She worked as a communication aide liaison for IPS for many years before retiring, a job she excelled at and enjoyed.

Bobbie was a selfless, loving woman, who always put others before herself. She was very passionate about helping our nation’s veterans any way she could. Bobbie spent countless hours volunteering at the VFW Lodge 2999 and served as their chaplain for years. She volunteered at numerous nursing homes as well, visiting with residents, playing Bingo, brightening anyone’s day she could. In her down time, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers. And she was always hard to beat at a game of Aggravation. Above all, Bobbie adored spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children David (Eva) Clark, Robert (Sonya) Clark, Danny (Rhonda) Clark, and Deborah (William) Horn; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; siblings Amos McCullough, Bill McCullough, Wilma Elliott, and Jennette Pennington; numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband and father of her children Eligah Clark; daughter Judy Clark; granddaughter Linsey, and siblings Jay, Tom McCullough and Wanda McCullough.

Visitation for Bobbie will be Wednesday December 14^th, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East from 4-8pm. Additional visitation will be Thursday December 15^th, from 12-2pm. Her funeral service will begin at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
