Billy Julian Croft, 90 of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord and his family that have preceded him. Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Through 66 years of marriage to Frances Croft married February 11, 1955, together they had 4 children (and their spouses) Mike (Robin), Diana (Walter), Doug (Cherie), and Ken (Lisa). Born to the late Earl and Ina Croft. He is survived by 1 brother Wayne and preceded by a brother, Guthrie and sister, Maxine. A devoted husband and father had a career with Kroger Warehouse retiring in 1990. Billy, as previously stated, was a devoted family man. He was always willing to help anyone when he could or just sit on the floor to let a grandchild or great grandchild comb his hair. He loved just being with family, whether it was working on a 1000 piece puzzle, shopping for one of his coveted diecast cars, watching St Louis Cardinal’s baseball, Indianapolis Colts football or playing a heated game of Rook. Billy was a humble and honest man that was never the one to say never. Often he would be found “fixing” things, changing the oil in the car or even building additions to the family home. Billy was extremely proud of his family, especially his 14 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Although, He will be deeply missed, we know the joy he is experiencing right now, and our sweetest memories will lighten our hearts and allow us to reflect on the many days of laughter and love we had together. 

The visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 11 am-2pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46229. A funeral service to celebrate Billy’s' life will begin at 2pm, immediately following the service, Billy will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery. The service may be livestreamed, here.
