Billie Jo Page
of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 75. Billie was born in Temple, Texas on March 10, 1943 to Lenox and Cormean Fulcher. Billie graduated from Dunbar High School (Temple, TX) and pursued continued education to enrich her career in Healthcare Administration.
Billie married Sgt. Julius C. Page and settled down in Indianapolis, IN to raise their four children. Billie was a loving and caring woman who had an adventurous soul. She traveled around the nation and lived in many different States including Texas, Colorado, Indiana, California and North Carolina.
Billie, affectionately known as “Nanie” or “Ladybird”, loved antiquing and yard sales. Ladybird was a collector of gourmet recipes and a phenomenal cook. Billie LOVED watching her soaps… the VCR was almost always running and there was a back-up just in case!
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Lenox and Cormean (Venable) Fulcher; Brothers, Rufus Fulcher, Lenox Fulcher Jr, Joe Fulcher, Melvin Fulcher and sister, Clora McClain.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her four children, Stephen Page, Teri Page (Amanda), Cynthia Haskins and Anthony Page; grandchildren, Christopher Page, Casey Haskins, Brandyn Page, Brittany Page, Chloe Elaine Wilson; many great-grandchildren; sister Lillie Ruth Jackson (Eugene) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 12 – 2 pm. The Memorial Service will begin at 2pm.
