Bill Thomas Peek

78, of McCordsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Pauline Peek, and his sister: Pat Peek. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mickey; his brothers John(Becky), Ricky(Kathy), Terry(Robin); his children: Jason(Danyil) Peek, Renee Smith, and Tina(Thad) Ison and many loving grandchildren.

Born July 21, 1939 in Cullman, Alabama, Bill proudly served in the Marines as a Lance Corporal and retired from Chrysler. As a Maintenance Supervisor and Tool & Die tradesman, Bill loved helping everyone and always had a creative solution to any problem. Bill had a passion for NASCAR auto racing and enjoyed watching the last race of the year. He also loved woodworking, bonfires with friends, and tinkering around the house.

The family will honor Bill with a celebration of his life on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Indianapolis Yacht Club (12900 Fall Creek Rd., McCordsville, IN 46055).  Arrangements by Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
