Bill Ralph

Indianapolis, Indiana – Bill Ralph passed away peacefully while comforted by his family on August 27, 2023. He was 87 years old.

Bill was born to Clark and Lois (Summers) Ralph in Louisiana, Missouri, on April 30, 1936. After graduating from high school, he was inducted into the United States Marine Corps, where he served for several years.

After his release from the military, Bill worked as a liaison engineer for the company that would become Navistar for many years, getting to travel around the country until his eventual retirement.

When not working, Bill loved to get outside. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved to listen to George Jones and Hank Williams, Sr. Every weekend, he could be found watching baseball, and especially his St. Louis Cardinals.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara (Krinhop) Ralph; son Brett Ralph, stepsons Michael Jones (Aimee), Johnathan Jones (Traci), and grandchildren Emma, Ethan, Lily, Levi, Morgan, Dylan, Harper, and Tucker.

Family will gather for visitation on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 12 pm to 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm. Pastor Loral Tansy will be presiding.
