Beverly M. Pope Sokolek

82, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on August 18, 2017. She was retired from NAMIC were she was a Vice President of Finance. She was a member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, and had worked for the finance committee for the archdiocese of Lafayette. She was an avid golfer, Colts fan, card player and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marya Clouse and brother, Thomas Pope. She is survived by her children, Alexander (Eva) Sokolek, Steven Sokolek, Christina Sokolek and Teresa Veller; sister, Suellen Leap; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, August 21, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Carmel. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Macular Degeneration Research.
