Beverly J. Matlock

Beverly J. Matlock, 79, of Indianapolis, died on August 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was born June 1, 1938 in Cambridge City, IN to Howard Russell Mullen and Bertha Yungk (nee Kilburn).

Beverly served as the Activities Director at the John Boner Community Center. She was an avid photographer receiving several awards for her work. She enjoyed many hobbies including poetry and singing. Most of all Beverly will be remembered as a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was dedicated to caring for her family.

She is survived by her children Jeff Matlock, Joseph Matlock (Michelle Shaffer), Karen Matlock, and Jerry Matlock (Mary); grandchildren Sarah Julian (Brian), Ryan Robison, Adam Matlock (Carmen), Evan Matlock, Zachariah Buzan (Katie), Derek Buzan (Cari), Isaiah Buzan, and Robby Matlock; great-grandchildren Lila Julian, Brinlee Julian, Jessica Julian, Kelly Julian, Ezra Matlock and Atia Matlock; and close friend Carolyn Skillen.

A Memorial Service will be held 6 PM Thursday, August 24 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis
