Beverly Grace Steckley

Beverly Dickerson Steckley passed away peacefully on October 30. She was born April 26, 1928. She graduated from Howe High School, Purdue University and Butler University. She was a teacher at IPS 85 and 105. Beverly was the widow of Robert Steckley. She is survived by a son, Brian Callahan (Mary), and a daughter Kerry Harlan (Arthur), Grandchildren Ben and Nathan Callahan (Jamie), Alison Harlan Smith (Jon), Lisa and Matthew Harlan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Steckley, parents Jesse Earl and Esther Dickerson, brothers Leland and Robert Dickerson and sister Vivian Holmes.

She was a member of The Methodist Church of the Savior, Indiana State Teachers Association, Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Sorority for Women Educators and the Home Economist Guild. She enjoyed the many activities at El Beulah Senior Living Community, traveling to all 50 states and spending time with family. Private services and burial at Washington Park East Cemetery.
