Beverly Ann Longere

Beverly Ann (Bauer) Longere, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

She was born on September 1, 1933 in Indianapolis to the late Lester Andrew and Mary Ellen (Carr) Bauer.  Bev was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and worked various jobs in the Indianapolis community; including 16 years with Central Hardware.  She was an avid IU Basketball fan and an eternal supporter of Bobby Knight.  Bev also enjoyed cross-stitch, quilting, and traveling with her family to St. Petersburg, FL.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Herman A. Longere; children, Kristi (Craig) Longere-Anderson, Lesli Welker, Scott (David Mannell) Longere; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 1-2:30pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Riley Children’s Foundation, or St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
