Beverly Ann Harrington

Beverly Ann Harrington (Bechert), 86 of Indianapolis, Indiana, went to heaven peacefully at her home in Westside Garden Plaza on August 25, 2023.

She was born in Indianapolis, on April 17, 1937, and was a 1955 graduate of Broad Ripple High School. Beverly was married to Harry Harrington on November 18, 1983, creating a loving family of six children.

Although throughout her life Bev worked, her passion and main focus was her children and grandchildren.  She was the “mom” of Westchester Estates and at the same time involved in various neighborhood organizations and committees.  In 2002 she and Harry sold their business, United Machinery Sales, Inc where she was a co-owner.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Harrington, children Jeff Clark (Beth), Cindy Rupert (Matt), Ronnie Clark,  Jimmie Clark (Rhonda), Amy Cochran and Brad Harrington, 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, her loving sister Carolyn Lortz (Bechert), her sister-in-law Carol Bechert, and sister and brother-in-law Betty and Wilber Hamblin along with many nieces and nephews.   She is proceeded in death by her parents Francis J Bechert, Dorthey C Bechert (Hassler) and brother Thomas Bechert.

If you were a friend or family member of Bev’s, you knew you were a part of her tribe and well loved.

Funeral arrangements will be held 10:00 to 12:00 for visitation, August 30, 2023, at Washington Park North in Indianapolis.

Contributions may be made in Bev’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
