Betty Sue Lamb, 78, born Oct. 31, 1944, in Westmoreland, TN, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2023.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Price, her three children, Crystal Stankiewicz, Robby Lamb and Tammy Wagner, and her grandson, Cody Wagner.
She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and dear grandmother who would give her opinion, but she always had your best interest at heart. She may slide a little ‘I told you so’ into the conversation but it was met with a side of biscuits & gravy, pizza meatloaf, green bean casserole or fried potatoes.”
Among her many gifts, creativity led her to open and run Country Charm / City Flair for many years, as well as help run her husband’s business, Lamb Heating & Cooling, Inc.
Zinnias were her favorite flower, she told of walking down a dirt road close to her childhood home in Tennessee and gazing at the beautiful zinnias along a neighbor’s fence.
She spoke of Summer nights spent as a teenager, gathering with friends and schoolmates at local revival (camp) meetings for the evening and afterward grabbing an RC cola with peanuts in it and a Moon Pie.
Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 2, 2023, at 3pm EST at Washington Park East, 10723 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229
