Betty Sue Johnson (Smith)

Age 75, of Indianapolis passed away on August 9, 2017. She was born March 26, 1942 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Lester and Lattie Dee Smith.

Sue came to Indiana in 1974 where she was employed with AT&T. She retired after 34 years of service as a telecommunications specialist. She later returned to the workforce, working the last 11 years at the Indianapolis International Airport. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her love of bowling, dogs, and most importantly, her grandkids.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Amy (Lisa), Brent (Rose Anne), and Roger, grandchildren, Ashley, Brandy, Courtney, Rachel, Zane, and Reid, as well as one great-grandchild, Blaine.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Sunday, August 13 from 2-6 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis.
