Betty Sallee

Betty Sallee, 97, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She was born January 30, 1925, in Indianapolis to the late Jesse (Poe) Adams and Hubert Arthur Adams. Betty retired from IUPUI bookstore. She loved gardening and feeding all the animals in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, A. Royal Sallee, sons A. Royal Sallee Jr, Phillip Guy Sallee, and Mark Paul Sallee, brothers, Bill Adams and Ted Adams, and several half siblings. Survivors include her son, Bruce (Shari) Sallee, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately to follow at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46228.
