Betty Preuss, 92, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Indianapolis, was called to heaven by our Lord, Jesus Christ, during the early morning of November 1st, 2024, All Saints Day. Betty was born on July 26th, 1932, to Otto and Frieda Linse in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Throughout her life Betty treasured her faith in Christ and her family. She was an active member in her church teaching Sunday School, attending church and bible study faithfully, participating in the altar guild, funeral meals, quilting, and more. She was a prayer warrior, spending at least an hour each day praying for others. She read her bible daily. Betty was married to Roland Preuss for 71 years. Together they raised their four children in a Christian home. As a mother she instilled in her children the importance of faith and education. A high school graduate herself, she was proud to see her children accomplish a variety of advanced degrees.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and two of her sisters. She is survived by her husband, Roland, her children Pamela Loesel (Gregory), Dr. Mark Preuss (Kimberly), Nancy Maier (Walter), and Julie Arndt (Scott), her ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Joyce Quilliing.
