Betty Joan Dickey (Long),

90, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017. Betty was born January 8, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN.
Betty was a graduate of Arsenal Tech and attended Miami University. She married Richard Long and after his death, married Herbert Dickey. Betty enjoyed playing cards, gardening and traveling. She made lifelong friendships through her service in Girl Scouts and her church where she was a member for 57 years. Betty is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Gary) Miller, Linda (Clifford) Jaebker; grandchildren, Brian (Nina) Jaebker, Kyle (Jane) Jaebker, Jason (Zaira) Miller, Megan (Louis) Britton, Sarah Miller, and Katie (James) Posipanka; and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Northwood Christian Church or Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple on Thursday, February 16 from 6-8pm.
