Betty Jeane Miller

Betty Jeane Miller, 90, of Carmel, passed away on February 11, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1932, in Bluefield, West Virginia to Harold W., Sr. and Helen A. (Hillman) Jones.

Betty graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1950, then went on to attend Central Business College in 1951. She enjoyed playing golf, tennis, cards, and would spend winters in Florida. She was an early member of the Zoo Guild and volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital.  

She is survived by her husband, William N. Miller; children, Eric (Susan) von Grimmenstein and Christy von Grimmenstein; stepchildren, Jay and Jeff Miller; grandchildren: Devan (Brett) Hoffman and Colin (Kiersten) von Grimmenstein; great-grandchildren: Hayden, Sawyer, Anniston and Miles; as well as other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Pauline Sexton Jones Buckmaster and Paul Sexton Jones. 

Funeral services will be held privately.
