Betty Jean Stephanoff

Betty Stephanoff, 95, A long time resident of the Indianapolis area passed away on January 10, 2020. Betty graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and went on to work at Eli Lilly & Company.  She married Mero Stephanoff and together  they moved to the southwest where they lived for two decades. Upon returning to Indiana Betty worked at L.S. Ayers & Company. After her retirement, she volunteered at Methodist Hospital and Brownsburg Public Library. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading and sewing. Her many quilts will be lasting reminders of her devotion to her family.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Mero Stephanoff. Her survivors include her daughter, Susan (David) Decker; granddaughter, Sara (Christopher) Huffer; grandson, Justin (Meggie) Decker; sister,  Jo Brock; brother, Jerry (Lucy) Brooks; and five Great Grandchildren.  Betty’s funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at John Knox Presbyterian Church with calling from 10am to 11am.

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
