Betty Hinesley

Betty Hinesley, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away July 18^th, 2020. She was born July 28^th, 1926 to parents Fay and Vera (Brown) Felknor.

Betty graduated from Shortridge High School.

She was married to The Late Harold Beer for several years. In 1977, she married William “Bill” Hinesley. He passed away in 2011.

She worked as a teller at American Fletcher National Bank for several years. Betty later became a Head Teller at Bank One, where she retired after 25 years.

Betty was a friendly, personable woman. She was very involved at her church, Lawrence United Methodist. She was a member of the horse patrol and was a past matron of #300 Order of the Eastern Star . Betty loved to shop.

Besides her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Beer, and William “Bill” Hinesley.

A memorial service for Betty will be at Lawrence United Methodist Church, Monday July 27th, starting at 11am. Betty will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
