Betty A. Sherrill (Bonnie)
79 years old, of Indianapolis, IN went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 26, 2015. Betty was known for her loving spirit to all who knew her. She retired February 1st from IPS after 40 years of service. Betty was a lifelong member of St. Marks Free Lutheran Church and Order of The Eastern Star where she assisted in every way she could. She loved watching Tennis, the Chicago Cubs, and Butler Basketball. She was an avid Bowler and volunteered at the RCA Tennis Championships.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Deborah Garriott (Mark) and Donna Plummer (Al); 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Elaine Cunningham and Robert Tanis; special Buddy, Arvin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sherrill; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Tanis; sister, Shirley Petrie.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Marks Free Lutheran Church 1301 E. Prospect St. Indianapolis.
