Bessie “Bee” Georgeadis Buczek’s long battle with disease ended on Tuesday. Bee was generous with love, and love was deeply who she was. Even as dementia robbed her words, memories, thoughts and dreams, she remained a giver of love as exemplified by her last words, “I love you honey.”
Bee was born in Gary, Indiana and went to Froebel High School where she was a cheerleader and baton twirler. She was a wife and a loving mother of four. In Indianapolis, she worked in the school system for 20 years. During summer, she would travel to Greece where she danced, ate, and made the best of memories.
Bee is survived by her sons Sonny, Joe, and Gregory; her grandchildren Jeremy, Megan, Sean, Ashlee, Ami, Dylan, and Nicholas; and her great-grandchildren Makenzie, Camryn, Charlotte, Alona and Hayden. She was predeceased by her son Pete.
The viewing will be at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) on Friday August 24th, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Bee’s service and burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on Friday August 24th, 2018 starting at 2:00 pm.
She will always be loved and cherished.
