Bert Charles “Chuck” Scott, 73 of Noblesville, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021. Chuck was born April 18, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Charles F Scott and Flecia F (McNeely) Tillberry. Chuck served his country proudly during the Viet Nam war. He retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. He also retired from the Tennessee Department of Corrections after serving 20 years as a corrections officer.
Chuck was a member of the Lawrence American Legion Post 777. Chuck loved fishing and making other people happy, he had a heart of gold!
Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9 at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm.
Chuck was the widower (after 42 years married) of Barbara Scott. They lived in Clarksville Tennessee after retiring from the Army until Barbara passed away 9 years ago. Chuck then moved back home to Indiana to be near his family. Chuck was married for 3 years and widower of Cathy (Deckard) Scott. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly M. (husband, Jason) Powell; sisters, Susan Scott, Gloria Perry and Bonnie (husband, Steve) Harper; grandchildren, Phillip, Shelby and Jacob Powell; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Kathleen Scott, brother-in-law Kevin Jacko. He was preceded in death by his sister, Robbie Bowles and brother, Norman Scott, sister-in-law Mary Jo Jacko and brother-in-law Keith Jacko
