Bernice Rose Helm

Bernice Rose Helm, three days short of 95, was born February 13, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James and Margaret (Steele) Hatfield.

Bernice worked for Diamond Chain, where she met her husband of 64 years, Bob, who proceeded her in death. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Bernice is survived by her children Robert R. Helms III (Karen) of Phoenix, AZ, Marion Fisher, Frances McClure, and Michael Helm (Donna) of Westfield, IN, 10 grandchildren, Jenn (Kevin) Recker, Kellie (Jeremy) Biggs, Rick (Isabelle) Fisher, Angela Lewis, Erin McClure, Ashley (Adam) Headley, Michael (Rina) Helm, Brittney Helm, Austin Helm, Jeffrey Helm, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10-12pm on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Dr.  A funeral service will follow at 12pm.  Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.  Please share a memory or condolence of Bernice at www.flannerbuchanan.com
