Bernice F. House

Bernice F. House, 80 of Beech Grove, passed away on May 24, 2017. She was born August 28, 1936 in Liberty, KY to Leonard and Katherine Pryor, who precede her in death. She came to Indianapolis in her youth and graduated from Wood High School. Bernice married Leo House, Sr. in 1964. She retired from Ford Motor Company and enjoyed shopping and playing bingo but her favorite times were spent with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Leo House, Sr. son, Kenneth “Skeet” Bracken and two sisters, Loretta Bussinger and Cora Stamm. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Karen (Joe) Collins, Mike Bracken, Leo House, Jr., Lee Ann Kavanaugh and Amber Kavanaugh, 6 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
