Benjamin Augustine Diaz

Benjamin Augustine Diaz, 80, of Fishers, passed away January 12, 2021. He was born August 28, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Socorro Diaz Esquivel. He attended Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, IL. He was in the U. S. Navy for 20 years and Civil Service for 30 years.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents Jesus and Guadalupe Diaz, Brothers Tony Esquivel and Nacho Diaz and daughter Michelle Hickling.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Nancy Jean Callahan Diaz, children Deborah Bales (Steve) of Peru, IN, David Diaz (Pamela) of Callahan, FL, Kimberly Hayes (Dan) of Mexico, IN, siblings Frankie Esquivel (Mary) of Chicago, IL, Margaret Esquivel of Chicago, IL, Nancy Esquivel of Chicago, IL, 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

He loved his family and was devoted to his wife. He enjoyed watching sports and WWE wrestling.
