Benancio Quintero Jr., 74 of Indianapolis, passed away March 8, 2018.
He was born July 2, 1943 in Pharr, Texas to Benancio Rojas Quintero Sr. and Elizabeth Mirelez Quintero.
He spent most of his career at Conagra as a 50+ year employee working as a mechanical engineer. When he wasn’t providing for his family, he could be found fishing, spending time with his family including his dog Charlie, or enjoying adventures with the love of his life Margie.
Benancio leaves behind his wife of 55 years Margarita Quintero; sons Raymond Quintero (Claudia) and Ed Quintero (Lisa); grandchildren Ana-Alicia Abney (Jay), Jagger Quintero (Kaycee), Alexis O’Dell (Phillip), Zachari Quintero, Carly Quintero, and Luke Quintero; great-grandchildren Wade, Brock, Amara, and Titus Abney; siblings Josepha Mejia (Jim), Arturo Quintero (Gail), Graciela Casares, Maria Vargas (Isidro), Irma Rodriguez (Jesse), Raquel Cantu (Juan), and Dalila Denise Hardy (Randy); and his dog Charlie.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East with funeral services beginning at 3 p.m.
