Belinda Kay Sauer-Williamson, also known as Bo, passed away at the age of 63. She passed peacefully at her sister’s home in Greensburg, Indiana, on September 29, 2023. She was surrounded by love.
She was born on January 26, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Leo and Mildred Sauer.
She was a 1978 graduate of George Washington High School in Indianapolis. Belinda retired after 45 years of loyal service as a teacher’s assistant and bus driver for IPS.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 64. She was also a member of Independent Pleasure and Benefit Club of Eagledale. She cherished the camaraderie and friendships formed through these organizations.
Belinda was the Euchre queen and loved her cards. She never passed up a chance to play cards. She frequently played at the Women’s Auxiliary, Post 64 and Post 331.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ora Williamson; her daughter, Amanda Green; stepchildren, Tammy Ohannessian and JR Voorhis; sisters, Leanne Lake (Tony) and Jayne Privett; and two grandchildren, Jerryn and Tryston Sauer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Robert Eugene Bell, Frank Otto Sauer, and Judy Jaye Sauer.
Funeral service will take place 3 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46222, with burial to follow in Floral Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service.
