Beatrice May Adams

Beatrice May Adams, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.

She was born on March 15, 1933 in Frankfort, IN to the late Charles Kenneth and Lota Inez (Pruett) Alexander. Bea was a 1951 graduate of Howe High School, where she met the love of her life, Paul Earle Adams; they were united in married in 1956. Bea worked for IPS as a secretary, retiring from Howe School after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Howe Alumni Committee. Bea loved playing the slot machines and watching her beloved Manning brothers (Peyton and Eli) by supporting the Colts, Giants and Broncos football teams. Above all, she loved her family.

Bea is survived by her children, Kristy (Mike) Tutts, Kim (Tom) Farris, Larry (Claudia) Adams, Lisa (Patrick) Nelson; grandchildren, Mary, Adam, Alex, Aaron, Kenny, Emily, Craig, Kyleigh and Drew. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Alexander and Kay (Jim) Hurley. Bea was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; and brother, Larry Alexander.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11am – 1pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Dr, Indianapolis, IN with a Funeral Mass to begin at 1pm. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the Dementia Society of America.
