Beatrice E. “Bea” (Elmore) Lohman

92, of New Palestine, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Bea was born in Glasgow, KY on November 6, 1924 to parents, Edward and Erma Beatrice (Calvert) Elmore. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker being able to teach Sunday school at church, and serve in the PTA. In her later years, she loved spending time with family, going shopping with her daughters and granddaughters, eating family meals together and traveling.
Bea is survived by daughters, Nancy M. Smith (David) and Linda A. Hayes; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 74 years, Grover F. Lohman, by only 3 days.
Family and friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 and 10am until 11am, Thursday, November 2th at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday at the funeral center. Burial will follow services in Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.
